Dr. Vesna PEKEL
Orthodontics
Dr. Vesna PEKEL was born in Slovenia. She graduated at Ljubljana University, Faculty of Dentistry in 2010 and was awarded the title ”Doctor of Dental Medicine”. She has been living in Turkey since 2012. In 2013 her dental diploma was approved by The Council of Higher Education in Turkey (YÖK). In the same year she started her postgraduate Master of Science education at Department of Orthodontics (Marmara University, Faculty of Dentistry) and finished it with her thesis presentation in 2019. She joined our dental team in 2020. Her professional interests are preventive orthodontics and maxillofacial orthopedics in children, fixed orthodontics for youth and adults, and clear aligner orthodontic treatments. She speaks Turkish, English, German, Serbian/Croatian and Slovenian (her native language). She is a member of Turkish Dental Association, Turkish Orthodontic Association and American Association for Orthodontists. She loves to spend her free time in the nature and by travelling with her family.
